Lack of knowledge and awareness of the health misinformation crisis has resulted in an astounding number of patients and their loved ones being harmed—including many deaths of patients who would not otherwise have died if health care professionals—including researchers, editors, peer-reviewers and faculty—knew a few simple facts.

Research has shown that patients often do not receive information from their physicians that is necessary to truly help them make the medical decision that is most right for them and that their decisions often change when adequate information is provided.

We teach patients how to respectfully alert you to these problems and help guide you both to a collective solution.
